The Story
Built from Passion, Driven by Results
White Local SEO was born out of frustration. Our founder James Carter watched local businesses — the backbone of every community — get ignored by generic agencies who treated them as just another invoice.
He knew there had to be a better way. A more transparent, more focused, more accountable approach to local SEO that actually moved the needle for real businesses with real customers.
So in 2014, he built it. Starting with three clients in Chicago, White Local SEO grew entirely through results and referrals — no fancy advertising, no inflated promises. Just rankings, traffic, and revenue for the businesses that trusted us.
Today, our team of 12 local SEO specialists manages campaigns across the US, obsessing over every citation, every keyword, every review — because we know what’s at stake for the businesses we serve.

Why I Started White Local SEO
In 2013, I watched my father’s hardware store nearly go out of business — not because it wasn’t excellent, but because nobody could find it online. His competitors, who were objectively worse, were showing up first on Google and stealing his customers.
I spent six months learning everything about local SEO and applied it to his business. Within three months, he was ranking #1 in the Map Pack. His phone wouldn’t stop ringing. He called me crying.
That moment changed everything. I knew there were thousands of businesses like my father’s — great products, great service, just invisible online. I quit my job and started White Local SEO the next day.
Ten years later, we’ve helped 50+ businesses just like his. And every single ranking feels just as good as that first one.
